A coniferous evergreen, with about 115 species of Pines worldwide.  Pines are plentiful and valued for their timber and wood pulp throughout the world as well as some newer varieties demonstrating very unique and eye-catching characteristics

Pinus densiflorus 'Golden Ghost'
Variegated Japanese Red Pine

Description: A unique, small evergreen tree with red-brown bark.  In the winter, it's needles are light green, and then turn bright yellow with green margins in the spring.  Golden Ghost colors up more dependably then the species.  Sustaining it's beauty, it holds this brilliant color throughout the fall months.  Slow growing.

Description:  Dark blue-green needles and an upright pyramidal habit make this a very attractive Pine.  This variety has the ability to "flex" or give under heavy snow loads.  Would also make a great specimen or screen.

Description:  Here is a wonderful variegated selection of the Korean Pine.  It has nice yellow bands on green needles.  An advantage this plant has is that its coloring is considerably brighter then that of the Dragon Eye Korean Pine.

Description:  Has a light variegation on needles that are pendulous-looking, giving the tree a very graceful, soft weeping habit that is very attractive.  The yellow bands are very subtle, not a bright gold.

Description: A slow-growing, broadly pyramidal evergreen conifer.  Large crisp dark green needles have yellow tips.  The color contrast is striking.  Prefers full sun in well-drained soil. Grows to 4' tall by 3' wide in 10 years.  Very hardy to -30 degrees F.

Description: The long, thin, vibrant yellow needles stay brightly-colored year round.  Interior foliage that is shaded stays fresh green, so the yellow really stands out.  Large, open and upright, the symmetrical pyramid, best planted in full sun, seems to reflect the rays of the sun back into the garden.  Grows to 3.5' by 3' in 10 years.
